MOVIE REVIEW : MI4 or Ethan Hunt one way of saying "Hey Wolverine you are not the only one!!"

Mission Impossible 4 : Ghost Protocol

The latest adventure of Ethan Hunt and other guys (that include one hot lady). Go and see this movie and kept your logic thinking aside this movie will blow your mind. and yeah Wolverine you want to know your origin go find Ethan Hunt, from what I saw, whatever experiment you had this guy had too.

Mission accomplished! Mission accomplished! Mission accomplished!

To make it simple this time someone/or a group of people blow up Kremlin tower and got something related to nuclear and blame it on the IMF team. So the US presidents invoke the Ghost Protocol mission. The team got to find the real culprit to clean their name and also stop the nuclear missile,in doing so they going to have to used what ever had left on them, the will not received any help and if get caught they will be brand as international terrorist. So yeah, the mission is indeed impossible.

Thankfully, apart from the past MI franchise, this one doesn't evolved solely on Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise). This time we got to see more of the crew and how they work as a team. Simon Pegg as Benji was solid in this, this guy make funny seems effortless. Jeremy Renner as Brandt was good too, he delivered a good serious guy with deadpan character, if they want to make a James Bond or Jason Bourne movie who are not too serious yet good at what he do this guy should be in it,i hope they make one soon! and then there is one lady in the team Jane (Paula Patton) who doesn't do a thing apart from being beautiful and hot, i'm kidding... she can act. Anil Kapoor also make a funny cameo too.

Have you seen the X Man Wolverine Origin, this movie was poor enough but it was made even worse that they don't show us Ethan Hunt as one of the subject of experiment along with Wolverine. If you see this movie you know what I meant, his head and body crash into several steel and glasses, he escaped big explosion, get hit by a car, involved in ridiculous car crash and he not even fainted ok at least one he faint and he seems to get up,heal from all injuries and do some more ridiculous stun, Wolverine can hired this guy to be his stun double. Credit to Tom Cruise he made Ethan Hunt believable no matter how ridiculous that guy is. There are two scene that stand out for me The Burj Khalifa scene where Ethan Hunt crawl outside the window of Burj Khalifa and the storm chasing scene, pure adrenaline action.

Yeah Spidey, I am taking your spot too.

Hanging outside Burj Khalifa, because i'm bored

Did I mention that he did the stun in the Burj Khalifa himself ? I don't care how small percent that was actually him in the scene that we saw in the movie hanging 100 floors off the ground no matter how many harness involved that is badass!! Salute to you Mr Cruise. Below are video of Cruise hanging out at the Burj Khalifa

Top that Hugh Jackman !!!

All in all I enjoy the movie. Awesome action scene, not so complicated story line albeit ridiculous ending, got a few great characters, got funny moment. Throw your logic for a few minute you got yourself a great action flick.

I rate this movie ENJOYABLE.

Movie Review : That damn spinning TOTEM

INCEPTION

Cristopher Nolan is the king of cinema. No matter how revolutionary Avatar is Nolan is still the best in term of storytelling and entertainment and i would like to call a thinking movie. U cannot doubt this guy, seriously u cannot direct the best movie of all time The Dark Knight and a year later come out with another movie that have the equal awesomeness and better yet make a movie about dream enjoyable and challenge you to think along...INCEPTION.

Don't you want to take a leap of faith? Or become an old man, filled with regret, waiting to die alone!

A lot of buzz have been made about the complexity of this movie. Actually it is not that hard movie to follow and you dont have to be an expert to understand the movie yet it is an exciting mind boggling cinema experience that one can have. The only problem that all movie nerds still arguing is, THAT DAMN TOTEM.

A bit about the story. Cobb (Leonardo Di Caprio) a "dream thief" assemble a team that include a forger,an architect, a chemist, and Cobb dream thief partner Arthur (Joseph Gordon Levitt) to plant an idea deep in Robert Fischer subconscious to make Robert Fischer destroying his father energy empire, by doing this Cobb guaranteed to get his life back. The one who can guaranteed that Cobb get back his life is Saito (Ken Watanabe). So Cobb the expert in dream within a dream work, led this team into a mission in Fischer's dream. Little that his team know that Cobb had some kind of disturbance that related to Cobb wife Mal (Marion Cotillard) whenever he enter dream state that may bring danger to their mission.

The acting was solid in this one, everyone bring their A game to this movie. Leonardo Di Caprio when I saw him in Titanic I thought that he is the same kind of actor as Robert Pattinson nowadays, good look and no talent but he kept proving me wrong since Catch Me If You Can.Marion Cotillard no doubt a great actress and she also done well and beautiful in this movie especially in the make herself looks beautiful part. This movie might be his second best work since The Departed. JGL also did well in this movie, he is a great actor, you can catch his early work in 500 Days of Summer. He has the best action scene maybe of all time in term of stylish and innovative kind of way in this movie.

Yeah!! Top that everyone else
No stop-motion bullshit here

SPOILER ALERT

There were a few thing that kind of make this movie great thinking movie and create a few debate among moviegoers such as :

1. Cobb's kids, you dont see their face until the end so you cannot be sure if at the end that was really Cobb's   kids.

2. What if his wife were right and he is the one in limbo, trap in his dream?

3. In one scene Cobb met his father in law,Miles (cameo by the great Michael Caine) and Miles told him to come back to reality...is the entire movie a dream all along??

4. If the solution to limbo is kill yourself again to get you back to reality why the hell that they were so piss off arguing with themselves including Cobb when they first know about limbo in the Hangar
scene??!!

5. Wouldnt it be two or three Cobb in the limbo after the van drop in the water? just a thought...the Cobb in the van die and yup goes to limbo, the one that blown away in the snow scene doesnt this Cobb go to limbo aswell he didnt feel the kick too did he? and then the Cobb that went with Ariadne to the limbo but refused to get kicked out because he want to search Saito?

6. and yeah definitely the last 10 or 15 second of the movies THAT DAMN SPINNING TOTEM!!

credit to Mr Nolan or whoever else that thought about cutting the scene before the totem stop spinning..damn brilliant!

All in all I rate this movie : PURE CINEMATIC EXCITEMENT

Movie Review : NERD RULES

SOCIAL NETWORK

Mark who???

'You know, you really don't need a forensics team to get to the bottom of this. If you guys were the inventors of Facebook, you'd have invented Facebook".

Social network. this is the story of one of the most trending thing in the world ever...no matter where you are. what you are, and what your interest are, if you have an internet connection I am sure 99% of you know one little networking site called FACEBOOK. This is a movie about the invention of that site and his inventor...the coolest nerd of all Mark Zuckerberg and every obstacle that come along the way.

The Social Network Trailer!!!

It all start when his girlfriend dump him and to express his anger and despair he badmouthing his ex on his blog and while doing that create a site called Facemash that got 22000 hits in 2 hours. So for girls out there if you happened to has a nerdy boyfriend and if you have to ditch him try to make sure if he got "that" billionaire potential just in case. Who know he could be the next Zuckerberg??!! If you look at most of the rich, successful and famous people nowaday the chances are most of them are nerd. Its a fact!

The story revolved around Zuckerberg developement of Facebook. How he accused of plagiarism during the developement of it ?. How his relationship with his best friend Saverin thorn up during the rise of the site ? How he met Sean Parker a young enterpreneur, founder of Napster along the way, and how does Sean Parker related to Facebook somehow and for me the best part of the movie was the main character Mark Zuckerberg behaviors and antics along 2 hours timeline. Credit to Jesse Eisenberg who acted so well, I am no friend of Zuckerberg so I cannot tell you he portrayed nail on the head of Zuckerberg but he made you believe that it is Zuckerberg that you watch here. Other actor also did well but I totally impressed with Justin Timberlake portrayal of Sean Parker. Sean Parker is the most interesting supporting character that you have seen in a movie this past year or two. Memorable quote "Drop the "the",just facebook, its cleaner!"

All in all the pace of the movie is slow but still enjoyable ride of movie. The story was good and its focus on the popular culture "Facebook" which everybody know and we curious on how it started and how it make one nerdy to a billionaire in just a couple of years, good stuff right??!! great actors and directed by the director of great movie Fight Club,Seven..David Fincher.

I rate this movie Enjoyable !!!
